How is overtime pay calculated?+
Overtime pay is your hourly rate multiplied by an overtime multiplier for each overtime hour worked. For example, at ₹200/hour with a 1.5× multiplier, each overtime hour pays ₹300. This calculator adds it to your regular pay for the total.
What does 'time and a half' mean?+
'Time and a half' is an overtime multiplier of 1.5, meaning overtime hours are paid at 150% of your normal hourly rate. 'Double time' uses a multiplier of 2. Enter whichever multiplier applies to you.
