Frequently Asked Questions
How is ROI calculated?+
ROI is the net gain divided by the initial investment, expressed as a percentage. If you invest ₹1,000 and it grows to ₹1,500, the net gain is ₹500 and the ROI is 500 ÷ 1,000 × 100 = 50%.
What is annualized return?+
Annualized return is the equivalent yearly growth rate over the holding period. It is calculated as (final ÷ initial)^(1 ÷ years) − 1. Enter the number of years to see it; leave years at 0 to show only total ROI.
Why does annualized return show a dash?+
Annualized return needs a positive holding period and a positive initial investment. When years is 0 or the initial investment is 0, the field shows '—' because the yearly rate cannot be computed.
